The team at Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network giving vaccinations at Bridport Medical Centre are reassuring residents about their second vaccinations.

Many will soon be due their second and a clinic will be held next week.

Dr Dani Farrell, clinical director of the Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network, said: "We are experiencing lots of calls to the practice from patients worried when they will hear regarding their second vaccine.

"On Good Friday, we will be having a second dose Covid-19 vaccination clinic for those who had their first Covid-19 vaccination in the clinic on January 13. We are in the process of contacting these patients.

"Moving forward, if you reach a time when you have not heard from us and it is over 11 weeks since your first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, please contact the Jurassic Coast PCN Covid vaccine team via [email protected] or telephone 01308 808714.

"If you have not reached the 11 week stage post your first vaccines, then please do not contact us, as we have a system set up whereby we are calling patients in, so please wait to be called rather than ringing us as this blocks the lines for people who need to get through to us.

"We will keep you updated as we go re clinic dates and which group of patients are being invited to each particular clinic, week by week, as these are arranged.

"Many thanks for your patience and help with this. It is much appreciated."
