A Bridport family loved the special Jubilee celebration box from Nub News and Co-op - being able to decorate cupcakes, wear crowns to a community party and more.

We caught up with the winners of the boxes to see how they celebrated the four-day bank holiday weekend.

Lorna entered the competition in May and managed to use the decorations over three celebratory events.

She said: "On Thursday it was my youngest daughter, Evie's, preschool Jubilee picnic for Wonderland at St Mary's park, so we took a lot of the flags there and the kids loved them.

"On Friday, my eldest Lola, baked some delicious Eton mess cupcakes and she put the cupcake toppers in them.

"On Saturday we had friends over and went to the Bradpole Jubilee party with our flags and crowns. On Sunday we had a family Jubilee barbecue and we're lucky that the rain held off.

"It was a great week and the kids were so excited with everything in the box."

Sharon Thomas also received a box and was able to decorate her garden with bunting and flags for a family barbecue while also celebrating the special event at West Bay and the Pymore Inn, as well as celebrating her mum's 85th birthday.

Another recipient, Helen, has also shown her thanks for the box. Despite Covid meaning she had to cancel her larger party plans, a few of them were still able to celebrate with the decorations.
