The Pymore Inn has been given planning consent to use an adjoining field as a temporary overspill car park.

Dorset Council planners were told that the use, for up to 25 cars, had started in August last year prior to requesting planning permission for the change.

Other local applications approved by the council include the replacement of roof coverings to a lean-to and replacement of windows to the rear and north side of the building at the Admiral Hood, Mosterton.

Castle View, Ryall Road, Ryall, First floor extension and alterations to existing double garage to create single garage at ground floor and workroom/studio at first floor with balcony;

10 Barrack Street, Bridport, Works to enlarge existing window aperture and replacement with a pair of French doors;

Cherrytrees, Main Road, Mosterton; Single storey rear extension;

209 Orchard Avenue, Bridport, Two storey side extension;

34 Gundry Road, Bridport, Two storey side extension;

Marshwood View, Dottery Road, Salwayash, Demolish existing rear porch, sunroom and garage and the erection of a single storey side extension with new attached single bay garage and single storey rear porch and lobby;

4 Warne Hill, Bridport, Demolish porch, erect a single storey extension. Carry out alterations;

Bridges, 88 High Street, Burton Bradstock, withdrawn, Use of Land for siting of 2.no Shepherds Hut;

Pound Cottage, Kingcombe Road, Toller Porcorum, Change of use of office /store/ information centre for Dorset Wildlife Trust to holiday let/ additional accommodation for main visitor centre;

The Abbots House, The Street, Charmouth, External works to garden, wall and driveway, and removal of modern chimney pots and flush fit vents, and take down rear chimney and rebuild;
