Plans for the fourth Bridport Business Awards have been announced.

They have proved very popular amongst local businesses with the 2022 awards receiving more than 80 entries and nominations, while the awards' videos, including the 2022 streamed awards ceremony, were viewed 578 times. More than 60 local business leaders attended the 2022 awards ceremony.

Entries and nominations for the 2023 awards open on Monday, August 22 vis the awards website - bridportbusinessawards.co.uk. Entry is free and businesses can enter as many categories as they wish.

The lunchtime awards ceremony is at Highlands End Holiday Park on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Nigel Reeve, of organisers Marketing West, said: "The idea of the awards started just before the first lockdown, and they have grown every year since then.

"The focus is on promoting the range and quality of local businesses. We describe the awards as grassroots business awards open to all local businesses.

"The 2023 categories will be on the award website early next week, but if anyone would like to suggest a category we may have missed, please let us know."
