Police are appealing for information after an 18-year-old was assaulted at Bridport's outdoor skate park.

At around 5.30pm on Friday, April 15, the local young man was at the skate park in Tannery Road with friends when three male young people approached him.

It is reported that they dragged the victim off one of the ramps and assaulted him. He sustained face injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

Police Constable Dane White, of West Dorset police, said: "I am appealing to any witnesses who were at the skate park and have not already spoken to police to please get in touch.

"I am also keen to hear from anyone with information about who was responsible for this incident."
