Police have issued CCTV images after an attempted burglary at a home off West Bay Road.

Dorset Police received a call at 1.55am on Tuesday, March 22 that a man was trying to enter the home. Officers attended and carried out a search of the area but the man was not found.

No access was gained and nothing was stolen.

Police Sergeant Matthew Love, of Bridport Police, said: "I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

"I appreciate they are not of the best quality, but I am hoping someone may recognise the man from his build and clothing.

"If anyone has any information to help me identify who was responsible for this incident, please contact Dorset Police."
