Beaminster and Bridport residents are being urged to give their feedback on the local CB3 Beaminster Community Bus service.

The bus provides a connection between the towns, stopping at Melplash and Bradpole along the way. Since 2018, local volunteers have operated the bus service on a Saturday, which is supported by Beaminster Town Council.

Beaminster Town Council is now seeking views how important the service is and how it is viewed by users. The information will help the town council to gain all-important funding in the future.

West Dorset MP Chris Loder has urged residents to submit their feedback.

He commented: "I am fully supportive of this bus service; while big commercial bus companies are unlikely to serve the communities of our villages and towns, it is community-run services like the CB3 that enable residents of harder to reach places, such as some of our villages, to access services in the towns. Any feedback users can give will be extremely helpful for the town council."

For residents wishing to contribute to the survey, a paper copy will be available from The Public Hall, Beaminster, or Yarn Barton information centre.
