Santa sleigh Christmas fundraising goes virtual

A Go Fund Me has been set up to raise money for those in need in our community as the coronavirus puts a stop to Christmas fundraising.

Bridport Lions Club is unable to do its annual Christmas collection outside Morrisons this year.

The group has set a target of £1,000.

The collection is one of the larger contributions to Bridport Lions Club's annual fundraising and last year members managed to raise £1,839.

Sheila Burton, president of Bridport Lions Club, said: "Please help us to continue helping those in need in our community by donating online instead."
