Six keen golfers are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer UK when they take on The Big Golf Race next month.
Toby Hall, Ed Halson, Will Bradbury, Sam Bevis, Rob Condliffe and Chris Chamney are taking on the charity's challenge which involves playing four rounds of golf in one day, which roughly equates to a marathon in distance.
They will be taking part in the event at Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club and have provisionally booked it for June 25.
Toby said: "We're all keen golfers and decided that we wanted to raise money for a specific cancer charity.
"Prostate Cancer UK promotes a national fundraising event called 'The Big Golf Race' to obtain donations to pay for life saving research and to provide invaluable support to men and their families who fall victim to prostate cancer, which is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK and takes the life of one man every 45 minutes.
"With four rounds being roughly equivalent to a marathon in distance, it will prove to be a huge challenge and will take approximately 16 hours from start to finish.
"We hope to raise between £500 and £1,000 for this amazing cause and will be completing the challenge in June this year."
