Bridport's climb up the South West Peninsular Premier East division took a stutter this week with one point from their last two games.

Last week they travelled to Torrington for a lack-lustre 0-0 draw and on Saturday suffered their first home defeat in a 2-0 defeat by Sidmouth Town.

The two results leaves the Bees in 13th place, well out of trouble considering how they were in such trouble at the foot of the table before appointing Chris Herbst as manager.

Herbst was disappointed but far from downhearted over the Sidmouth defeat, admitting afterwards that the Bees played well but lacked "a bit of savvy in front of goal."

This coming weekend Bridport are at home again, this time against Teignmouth FC who are five places about the Bees in the table.
