Staff and residents at Coneygar Lodge care home in Bridport marked the first anniversary of going into lockdown.

They joined together for a day of reflection over the past year of living under the threat of Covid-19.

James Cross, director at Coneygar Lodge, said: "Wearing yellow, we decorated the lounge and planted a yellow shrub to reflect on the lives lost around the world and how hard the staff have worked here to keep this dreadful virus at bay and keep our residents safe."

The care home also received confirmation that all its residents would receive their second coronavirus vaccine on Monday, March 29.
