The Bridport branch of the British Sugarcraft Guild will be celebrating its 25th anniversary on the evening of September 14.

Members will also be resuming their monthly meetings after a year and a half of restrictions.

Ivy House at Groves Nurseries is the venue and members usually start to arrive at 7pm for a cuppa and chat before the 7.30pm start to the evening's demonstration or workshop.

A spokesman said: "For this special meeting we have been promised a celebratory cake as well as an 'explosive' demonstration from two of our own award winning members.

"Visitors are always welcome."
