Symondsbury Estate hosts quintessential English village fete
Symondsbury Estate hosted a traditional village fete for residents and visitors on Wednesday.
Despite the less than summery weather crowds turned out to enjoy all the fun of the quintessential English village fete.
Entertainment included morris and maypole dancing, and live music from local singer Harvey Causley.
There were also traditonal fete games and face painting, as well as a barbecue, Pimm's tent and a number of stalls selling local produce and crafts inside the estate's Tithe Barn.
The fete also included Symondsbury Estate's inaugural vegetable sculpture competition.
A spokesperson said: "We've had such a fabulous time today. It was great to welcome so many of you to the estate for a fun-packed, food-filled, dance-tastic day!"
