Many of us start the new year with the best of intentions – Dry January, Veganuary, or maybe just setting ourselves resolutions to be a little healthier.

But how may of us keep up these new healthy habits beyond the first few weeks of the year?

As we head into February, The Hive Beach Co is here to help, offering healthy choices at all three of its acclaimed, seaside restaurants – The Hive Beach Cafe in Burton Bradstock, The Watch House Cafe in West Bay and The Club House in West. Bexington.

All three restaurants focus on serving the best best in fresh, local and sustainable produce, with delicious lighter options meaning you can indulge in a guilt-free delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner – or even a cocktail!

The Club House, West Bexington

The AA Rosette-winning Club House, based on Chesil Beach, has been closed during January for a winter break but will be reopening on February 9th and has plenty of healthy options to help you stick to your new year's resolutions.

Breakfast options include a wild berries smoothie bowl or avocado on toast, while its delicious seasonal lunch and dinner menu features grilled garlic sardines, whole mackerel or sole.

At The Club House, the cocktails are always flowing but if you're counting the calories there is still plenty of choice on the health cocktails menu, including a fruity mango margarita and refreshing summer tonic, as well as non-alcoholic options.

Roast dinners will also be returning to The Club House every Sunday from February 12th.

The Hive Beach Café, Burton Bradstock

The Watch House Café, West Bay

The Watch House Cafe will also open on February 9th after a winter break and focusses on breakfast, brunch and lunch.

While you can indulge in a choice of their tasty pizzas, lighter choices including vegetarian and vegan options are also always available. Non-alcoholic options also feature on the menu, so you can join in with the Watch House's bottomless brunch without the hangover!

With all three restaurants set right on the Jurassic Coast, why not get in those steps and combine your meal out with a brisk walk along the beach.

The Hive Beach Cookbook

The Hive Beach Co is also helping you to stay healthy at home with a selection of fresh, light options in its third cookbook, released just before Christmas.

Tasty, healthier recipes include Asian-inspired monkfish tails with a sweet and sour coconut tom yum broth, and Dover sole with garlic spring greens and mussels.

The cookbook is also helping to raise funds for Guide Dogs UK, with £2 from every copy sold going towards the charity.

You can now purchase the cookbook from The Hive Beach Café farm shop at Burton Bradstock, or order online by clicking here.
