The second Bridport Christmas Cheer-up kick starts this week, followed by weeks of festive fun and events.
The annual Christmas Cheer evening had to be cancelled again this year, but there's still a lot to see and do around the town.
Here's what's happening:
Friday, November 26
Christmas bingo at Bridport Town Hall. Eyes down at 7.30pm. It's very popular so get there early to get a seat.
Christmas decorations and Christmas trees will be going up East, West and South Street.
Sunday, November 28
Bridport Round Table's Christmas tree goes up in Bucky Doo Square.
Saturday, December 4
Small Business Saturday - free car parking all day in Dorset Council car parks.
The charity and community market will be taking place in Barrack Street.
Every Wednesday and Saturday the street market will be packed with Christmas gifts and festive food. On Saturdays there will be live music, entertainment and Santa in his sleigh at Bucky Doo Square.
Tuesday, December 7
The Christmas Tree Festival starts at Bridport United Church and will be there until Sunday, December 19
Wednesday, December 8
Bridport mayor, councillor Ian Bark, officially switches on the Christmas lights at 6pm in Bucky Doo Square.
Saturday, December 11
The Christmas food and makers market will be taking place in Barrack Street.
Sunday, December 12
The North Pole comes to North Street! Santa's Grotto comes to the WI Hall from 10am to 2.30pm. Family slots can be booked here.
Saturday, December 18
The vegan and arts and crafts market will take place in Barrack Street.
Residents can also vote on the best Christmas shop window display. Pick up a form from the TIC by December 18 or email [email protected]
Other events
There are many other events taking place across the town, including Christmas Tree on the Green, Mapperton Christmas Market, Christmas lights switch-on in Bradpole and Highlands End Makers' Market.
