Two fire crews were called to a greenhouse alight after a fire spread from an incinerator.

Firefighters from Bridport and Beaminster stations were called on Sunday just after 1.15pm to the fire on the outskirts of Bridport.

Crews used one hose reel jet, hay drags and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire

A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "The cause of the fire was due to an unattended incinerator which caught fire to the surrounding grass and spread to the wooden greenhouse.

"Always ensure any type of incinerator or fire is sighted well away from property and clear of any surrounding material that could potentially catch fire."
