West Bay Road to be closed from today for almost two months
Part of West Bay Road will be closed from today until December 24 while Wessex Water carries out works.
The closure will be in place from November 2 at West Bay Road's junction with Wanderwell and its junction with Roundham Gardens in both directions – a distance of around 130 metres.
It will enable Wessex Water safe access to rebuild three manhole chambers incorporating over pumping.
The alternative route, which will be signposted, is the B3157, Station Road, West Bay Road.
