We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Alright? At Bridport Arts Centre

Performed by Dillon Berry and written by Patrick Withey, this original play is a brutally honest and quick-witted insight into living with Mental Health.  The original production was Directed by Benjamin Hardy-Phillips and has now been adapted by Cordelia Tarbrooke for its August trip to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Saturday: Loders Fete

Loders Fete this year is on Saturday, August 6 from 2-5pm in the picturesque grounds of Loders Court, Loders, Bridport.

There is plenty of free parking on site and lots to do including the return of magician and entertainer Count Backwards, who was a huge hit in 2021. There is some fantastic music from the Bridport Broadsides Sea Shanty Crew and a variety of stalls and games, including a Grand Raffle, a silent auction and a crockery smash, tombola, coconut shy, plant and cake stalls, fresh produce & homemade savouries, Tea Tent, BBQ & Pop-Up Bar. Dogs on leads welcome.

Admission - Adults £2 Children Under 12 free.

Sunday: Buried in Time

Discover West Bay's Jurassic past.

Pop-up exhibition unlocking the secrets of West Bay's geology. Come and join us for fossil fun and fascinating facts – for children and adults.
