Saturday: Harvest Show

Bridport and District Gardening Club host their harvest show at the United Church Hall in East Street, from 12noon to 3pm on Saturday, September 9, with displays of flowers, vegetables, homecraft, cookery, art and photography. Trophies will be presented at 3pm.

Saturday: Ed Byrne

One of the UK's favourite TV household names, Ed Byrne, returns to the stage with a brand-new show Tragedy Plus Time, coming to the Electric Palace in Bridport on Saturday, September 9. Limited tickets are still available.

Sunday: Children's Art Workshop

West Bay Discovery Centre invite you to 'Decorator Crabs' on the beach on Sunday, September 10 – learn how some crabs disguise themselves to hide from their prey; decorate your own shell and see if you can beat the shark!

Jo Burlington from Oops Wow Messy Art is joining to host this event. There will also be lots of fun activities to do inside the centre for all ages.

Sunday: Apple Pressing & Tasting

An apple pressing and free tasting event will be held at Bridport Community Orchard on Sunday, September 10. From 10am to 12noon, you'll be able to taste the freshest apple juice in town at the community orchard, behind St Mary's Church. off South Street.

Free tasters of apple juice fresh from the press will be on offer, alongside live music from the Cosmic Strings trio.
