All Weekend: Beneath the Waves

In its new exciting 'Beneath the Waves' exhibition, West Bay Discovery Centre looks at the secrets of Lyme Bay. It explores the historical and current fishing practices, from the traditional seine netting for mackerel and sprats to the range of different techniques employed by today fishers.

Open every day except Mondays, 11am -4pm, throughout the year until October with free admission.

Friday: Orpheus Dismembered

Storyteller Ben Haggarty and musician Jonah Brody read between the lines of Greek Mythology to restore them to their terrifying and truly awesome glory. 

This is world-class storytelling show at Bridport Arts Centre on Friday, March 24 is dark, magical and provocative

Saturday: The Prout Extravaganza

Come along to an entertaining evening for the whole family from 6pm on Saturday, March 25 at Beaminster Town Hall, showcasing local musical youth talent while raising funds for the Prout Bridge Project charity.

Performing will the Prout Bridge Projects youth band, The Phoenix, other local youth performers and a guest band. Entry is £3 on the door.
