A replacement look out post has been agreed at Beach Road in Burton Bradstock for the National Coastwatch team.
The hut, 6.6 metres wide, will have a dozen solar panels, in two rows on the roof, and will be fitted with an air conditioning unit and a rainwater harvesting system.

WEST Dorset MP Chris Loder has welcomed news that Dorset will not be designated a National Park.
Natural England has confirmed that Dorset will not face the prospect of National Park designation this year.
Due to the extension of lockdown restrictions in England, Plastic Free Bridport has had to postpone its Plastic Free Picnic.
The event was due to take place on Sunday, July 4 at Bridport Millennium Green.

Cameron Farquharson is campaigning for change in the law to protect livestock from dog attacks following the tragic death of Gladis, his pregnant Highland cow, and her unborn calf on May 27.

A study commissioned by Bridport Town Council has highlighted key issues and options for the future of the town centre.
The successful Love Food - Love Bridport market was a brilliant substitute for the Bridport Food Festival and even gave a boost to Bridport market traders.
The event, organised by Bridport Local Food Group, was held at the Millennium Green on Saturday as Covid-19 meant the usual food and beer festival at Asker Meadows could not go ahead.

Members of Bridport Ladies Circle are walking from Bridport to Dorchester Maternity Hospital on Saturday 26th June - 20 miles! - to raise funds to buy vital community midwife bags.
The bags have been put together by Baby Lifeline who are a unique national charity which promotes the safe care of pregnant women and newborn babies all over the UK and worldwide.
