Litter Free Dorset is inviting Bridport residents to a community workshop to discuss ways litter can be reduced in the town.

This year, Litter Free Dorset will work closely with five communities between March 2021 and March 2022 to reduce litter and pollution within West Dorset. This is part of a wider project managed by Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team (AONB) - Greening West Dorset's Hills and Vales.

Dorset Council has agreed the conversion of the former Netherbury garage, despite objections

The conversion of a former Netherbury garage into a home has been agreed by Dorset Council – despite local objections.

Brewing company, Palmers, had asked for the Brandon Garage in New Inn Street, just off The Square, to be converted to a two-bed home with the addition of a first floor. A kitchen and living-dining area will be created downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
