Holidaymakers in West Dorset raised £6,000 for the Jurassic Coast Trust during 2020

Despite the difficulties of holidaying in 2020, thousands of holidaymakers at West Dorset Leisure Holidays have raised more than £6,000 for the Jurassic Coast Trust.

Since 2008, West Dorset Leisure Holidays - which has parks in Eype, Seatown and Burton Bradstock - has raised funds through an optional donation being added to customers' bookings across their four holiday parks, which has now accumulated to almost £90,000.

The riverbank improvement works are making good progress

Flood protection improvement works to the River Brit in West Bay have made good progress despite challenges from recent adverse weather conditions and Covid restrictions.

The project, between the Dorset Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Team (FCERM), Parkdean Resorts UK and Dorset Highways, includes the installation of a 380m sheet pile wall and reprofiling the riverbank.
