Residents across Bridport may be under the impression that Highlands End Holiday Park's leisure club is solely for holidaymakers.

This could not be further from the truth. It also has a growing number of local members who are taking advantage of its 20-meter indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

There are a range of flexible membership options, starting from just £13.50 per month - or £12.50 per month if you pay upfront for the whole year - with family, couple and corporate membership packages also available. You can choose a full membership with unlimited use or pay as you go if you are unsure of how much you will use the facilities.

It also has a partnership with New Body Fitness Bridport, where the leisure club's members can enjoy half price access to its gym facilities at Gore Cross.

Highlands End Leisure Club is home to The Penny Yarnold Swim School, which has taught many of the children and adults from Bridport and the surrounding area how to swim. Penny has been teaching swimming for more than 20 years and offers one-to-one and group swimming lessons, parent and baby sessions and Aqua Fit.

There are changing rooms with showers, toilets, hairdryers and baby changing facilities and free lockers are provided on the pool-side.

After you've completed an invigorating swim and relaxed in the sauna and steam room, why not grab a bite to eat at Martin's Bar and Restaurant.
