Planning applications in and around Bridport out for consultation this week include:

P/HOU/2022/01472 - 7 Seaward Gardens

Loft conversion with front dormer window and roof lights.

The applicant wants to convert the home's loft to create two additional bedrooms.

Comments can be made on this application until March 29.

P/HOU/2022/01433 - 36 Pasture Way

Erect single storey side extension.

The applicant wants to build an extension to provide a kitchen, utility room and toilet.

Comments can be made on this application until March 25.

P/HOU/2022/01434 - 18 Bowhayes

Erect single storey rear extension and conversion of attic with rear facing dormer and roof lights.

The applicant wants to build and extension in order to extend the kitchen and dining room and create more living space in the attic.

P/FUL/2021/04548 - Waitrose, Bridport

Removal of existing boundary and internal walls and creation of 6 no. parking spaces for home delivery vans and associated electric charging points, 2 no. customer collection parking spaces and 2 no. taxi waiting spaces. Erection of free standing canopy in loading bay area, replacement trolly and staff shelters and associated development including boundary treatments and access.

The applicant wants to create a home delivery and collection area to the rear of the shop, which will include knocking down walls and creating six parking spaces for delivery vans, two customer parking spaces, two taxi waiting spaces and instal electric charging points. It also wants to replace the trolley and staff shelters.

Retain 2m x 2m outdoor freezer.

The applicant wants retrospective planning permission for an outdoor freezer on the site as they were not aware they were required to apply.
