Congratulations to The Ropemakers on its well-deserved accolade! It will now go forward into the Wessex regional finals.

3. Crowds cheer and wave as Tom Daley cycles through Bridport

We had a very special visitor this week! Tom Daley cycled through the town as part of his epic endurance challenge.

4. Plans for a prop workshop and storage building to support Bridport's arts organisations

The town council wants to provide a space for theatre, arts and cultural groups to use to make or repair props, store them and to also work.

5. Car crushed by fallen tree as Storm Eunice sweeps across the county

Storm Eunice brought winds of up to 100mph as it hit Dorset yesterday, causing damage and many trees to fall.
