Three local young skaters have been successful at the 'Love U Lots' Skate Festival in Bridgwater.
Lucian Hotchkiss and Hugo English from Bridport, and Huck Booth from Beaminster all gained places after regularly using 2020 Skate and Ride in Gore Cross.
Lucian came third in the under 13s street skating class, Hugo English gained second place in the under 13s street skating class and Huck Booth came first in the under 13s street skating class.
Rob Ridge, of 2020 Skate and Ride, said: "It is a pleasure to watch these guys and others at the park aspire and progress in their passion for skating. It is also worth saying that the skatepark is open to all, whether it is to be competitive or to simply use and enjoy the place and atmosphere at whatever level.
"The place is used by a diverse variety of people from young pre-school kids under the watchful eye of parents up to people who could be regarded as heading towards retirement age.
"The park is used by skateboarders, scooters, BMXs - and larger mountain bike style bikes - inline and quad skates."
The indoor skate park opened in August 2020 and has quickly become a much-loved facility, celebrating its first anniversary back in August despite the pandemic lockdowns.
