An incredible 2,500 people are vaccinated at Bridport Medical Centre in one day

An incredible 2,500 people received Covid-19 vaccinations at Bridport Medical Centre on Saturday - the most yet for the centre.

The team, made up of staff from Bridport, Barton House Medical Practice, The Tollerford Practice, Lyme Bay Medical and Dental Practices and Charmouth Medical Practice were helped by volunteers from Bridport Coronavirus Community Support to reach the amazing number.

A spokesman for Bridport Medical Centre said: "A huge thank you to our Jurassic colleagues and wonderful volunteers from Bridport Coronavirus Community Support for getting 2,500 of our community vaccinated. Biggest number yet."

We would like to say a massive thank you and well done to everyone involved - you are doing an amazing job and makes us so proud to be part of this wonderful community.

The next covid clinic at Bridport Medical Centre will take place on Wednesday, March 24.
