Ten artists and makers from around Dorset are taking part in a group exhibition at Eype Centre for the Arts this weekend.

Art@Eype will run for three days from Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16.

The annual summer show is put together by three Bridport-based artists – imaginative painter David Brooke, photomontage/mixed media artist Sally Davies and portrait painter Elizabeth Sporne.

Each year, they invite a changing line-up of fellow artists, from around the county, to join them at Eype to show their work and talk about it with visitors.

This year the guest artists are three others from Bridport – abstract painter Marnie Shaw, photographer Paul Wenlock, and Russ Snedker showing his metal-fusion sculpture – along with landscape painter Lucie Milner and ceramicist Krystyna Sargent, both from the Weymouth area, wood sculptor Jamie Hart who works near Dorchester, and Wareham-based wildlife artist Cliff Towler.

Admission is free, as is parking for exhibition visitors, though with Eype only a mile or two from either Bridport town centre or West Bay, walking is an option, ideal for dog-owners as dogs are also welcome at the exhibition.

The venue sits high on a hill overlooking the sea, with incredible views as a bonus. Refreshments of tea, coffee and cake will be available with proceeds going to charity.

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday at Eype Centre for the Arts, St Peter's Church, Mount Lane, Eype, near Bridport (DT6 6AR).
