Bridport-based business Bridmet Ltd. is hosting an apprentice open day on Thursday, July 6 for aspiring apprentices who are eager to embark on a rewarding career in manufacturing.

The company is inviting all enthusiastic individuals to join them for an exclusive tour of their facilities and get a first hand look at our operations - providing an opportunity to explore the world of manufacturing, meeting skilled professionals, and gain invaluable insights into the industry.

Bridmet delivers a comprehensive turnkey manufacturing service offering expertise in sheet metal, fabrication, machining, finishing and assembly and integration.

The company says its commitment to nurturing talent and providing apprentices with valuable opportunities sets the foundation for a prosperous future workforce, with the aim of offering up to five placements per year.

A spokesperson said: "We are passionate about providing good quality employment opportunities for those living in and around West Dorset and have strong relationships with all local education partners to be able to offer a range of apprenticeships in mechatronics, engineering, fabrication, machining, IT and software development.

"At the end of the apprenticeship journey, we strive to offer continued employment and exciting growth opportunities. Our vision for implementing a dynamic and ongoing apprenticeship programme is to invest in talented individuals, providing long-term fulfilling career prospects in West Dorset."
