Bridport Heritage Forum will be exploring the history of Bridport houses

More than 40 residents of the Bridport area attended a meeting hosted by Bridport Heritage Forum last week, to learn about a new project looking into the history of their houses, and the families who lived there, over the last two centuries.

The aim of the project is to discover and record the town's development, both social and economic, through the stories of ordinary families at home and at work.

The project will be launched in September, after the Ffrum's 'Rationing to Rock 'n Roll' exhibition in the Town Hall has finished, and will start with workshop sessions to help get people started.
