This week we're focussing on Martin's Bar and Restaurant, in the stunning location of Highlands End Holiday Park at Eype.

Open to all, Martin's Bar and Restaurant is a family-owned, spacious and modern venue located on the hilltop overlooking Bridport and West Bay, just a short walk from the South West coast path over the clifftop at Eype. 

The venue offers great, friendly service and a locally-sourced, home-cooked menu, a great selection of local and familiar drinks and Costa Coffee. Check out their popular Sunday Carvery or Tuesday Curry Night, or enjoy a cocktail or two during our daily happy hours.

Hghlands End pride themselves on being one of the most family friendly venues in the area and have a great indoor children's soft play, as well as an outdoor playground and beer garden.

They are a dog-friendly venue too and have dedicated areas in their restaurants for guests who have their canine companions with them and even a special doggy menu.

Martin's is also home to one of the country's largest collections of fire fighting memorabilia, with Martin himself having built up the collection over three decades after serving as a Retained Leading Firefighter with the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service.

The impressive display includes a 1936 Leyland fire engine and a 1902 Merryweather horse-drawn steam engine.

Visit the Little Fire Station Soft Play (for under 6s), an outdoor play area (ages 5 to 14), a selection of board games, games machines and pool tables. There is a children's menu and we also host children's birthday parties.

Martin's Bar & Restaurant hosts a great range of events throughout the year, including family discos, children's entertainers, live music and one-off events like the Highland's Christmas Market, a Macmillan Coffee & Cake Morning and a Beer and Cider Festival for all comers.

Also open to all, a great activity for the whole family is the nine-hole Pitch 'n' Putt course, just around the corner from Martin's Bar & Restaurant. The course is open from March to October and has fantastic views over West Bay.

Memberships are available at the adjoining Highlands End Leisure Club, with an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The Leisure Club is open to members only and holidaymakers staying at any West Dorset Leisure Holidays Park.
