Bridport Museum is offering free entry as part of Heritage Open Days

The celebration of England's history and culture is underway and residents and visitors to Bridport are being encouraged to find out more about the town.

Bridport Museum is open and offering free entry from Thursday, September 16 to Saturday, September 18. There's a wealth pf history about the town to discover.

Alongside this, people are encouraged to visit Bridport Town Hall, which includes murals and paintings by artist Fra Newbery, which depict aspects of the town's history, particularly the rope and net industry.
