Burton Bradstock Community Land Trust invites you to a drop-in session to find out more about affordable housing

Those interested in affordable housing in the local area are invited to a drop-in session to find out more.

Burton Bradstock Community Land Trust (CLT) is holding a drop-in session to give an update on the trust's activities and news relevant for people interested in affordable housing in the village and in West Dorset.

The information session will be open to everyone and will be held in Burton Bradstock Village Hall on Wednesday, September 22 from 5.30pm to 8pm.

There will be an update on what the CLT has been doing to achieve its aim of providing local needs housing in Burton Bradstock and the issues it has encountered. Dorset Council will be providing information and support regarding the current changes to the housing register.

David Dixon, chairman of the CLT board, said: "We are delighted to have the opportunity to update CLT members and anyone else interested in local need housing in this area on what the trust board members have been working on.

"This includes evaluating possible sites for future affordable housing in Burton.

"There are also important changes to Dorset's Housing Register at the moment, so we hope this session will be useful for people who find themselves in housing need.

"Come along, have a chat and ask any questions you may have. Tea and biscuits will be provided."

Membership of the CLT is available by buying a £1 share and application forms will be available at the drop-in session.
