Bridport Library will reopen tomorrow.

It will be open from 9.30am to 1pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, as well as 2pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday and 2pm to 4pm on Saturday. It will be closed on Thursday and Sunday.

From Wednesday, December 2, customers will be able to browse books and use the library computers by booking a slot.

The order and collect service will still be available as an alternative to visiting and a programme of activities will continue to be offered online.

Councillor Jill Haynes, portfolio holder for customer and community services, said: "As this second lockdown draws to a close, we can't wait to welcome back customers.

"We'll continue to have measures in place so everyone can visit safely while they enjoy their library.

"I'd like to thank customers for their patience, and our employees for their creativity and passion which continues to make life a little more pleasurable for everyone during these difficult times."
