With lockdown being lifted and entertainment venues now able to open, more and more events can go ahead.

Bridport residents can again start to enjoy art exhibitions, screenings, live music and more.

Exile: A Mind in Winter, which features the work of three artists, Cedoux Kadima, Ricky Romain and Robert Golden will be taking place at Bridport Arts Centre from December 2 to 10, which will also incorporates a talk and concert.

Unwrapped at Symondsbury combines 2D and 3D work from artists and craft-makers from across the South West, which will make ideal gifts.

The exhibition will run from December 3 to January 18 at The Gallery.

Philip Sutton RA - His 21st Century Colours is an exhibition of paintings by the Royal Academician and leading artist and marks the opening of his new gallery in Bridport.

He decided to set up The Philip Sutton Gallery at St Michael's Art and Craft Quarter after lots of exhibitions were cancelled. The exhibition will be open from December 3 to January 28.

Jazz in the Theatre returns to Bridport Arts Centre on December 11 with Andy Williamson, who will be playing soulful tunes on the saxophone.

The weird and wonderful Bridport Turnip Prize will also be going ahead on January 31 after the last few months have proved very difficult for creative people to show their talents and get the appropriate feedback for their creations.

Screenings are returning to Bridport Electric Palace, including the National Theatre Live showings of Fleabag, All My Sons, Present Laughter and War Horse, as well as Saint Maud (15).
