Bridport Morrisons opens up its doorstep delivery service to even more people

Morrisons in Bridport has made changes and opened up its doorstep delivery to even more people.

A spokesman for Morrisons in Bridport said: "As the nation is continuing to deal with this pandemic and the ever-changing restrictions, Morrisons wants to make sure that everyone has access to the groceries they need. It has made changes to its doorstep delivery service to make sure no one is left behind."

There is a dedicated helpline number – 0345 611 6111 – select option five and you can place your order with a member of the team. All orders placed before 5pm will be delivered the next day.

There is no longer a minimum spend and the service has been extended to seven days a week, available to customers within 10 miles from Morrisons in Bridport.

Nick, who is in charge of doorstep deliveries at the Bridport store, picks the orders personally then goes out and delivers them.

The spokesman added: "This great service is still free to the elderly and the vulnerable, but now also available to students and anyone isolating."

Students will pay a discounted rate of £2 delivery charge and anyone isolating will pay £4.50.
