Planning applications in and around Bridport out for consultation this week include:

P/TRC/2022/00980 - The Cottage, Walditch

T1 silver birch - remove large lateral branch and smaller lower lateral branch overhanging boundary wall - excessive shading and too close to power cables T3 hazel - coppice.

The applicant wants to reduce the canopy of a silver birch tree due to excessive shading and its proximity to power cables, as well as cutting a hazel tree.

Comments can be made on this application until March 2.

P/OUT/2022/01183 - Land adjacent to 17 Hardy Road, next to Coneygar Lodge

Outline application for erection of detached dwelling, garage and access.

The applicant wants to build a home and double garage in the existing garden area of 17 Hardy Road.

Comments can be made on this application until March 25.

P/HOU/2022/00834 - 26 Norman Close

Install balcony and French doors.

The applicant wants to install a first floor balcony off one of the home's bedrooms.

Comments can be made on this application until March 3.
