Here are some of the roadworks coming up that could cause delays to motorists:

The A35 between Bridport and Dorchester will remain closed from 8pm to 6am until July 20 while Highways England carry out resurfacing works.

Works by SGN in Chestnut Road will continue until July 27. Works in that area are also taking place in North Hill Way until August 20.

Until July 27, SGN will be carrying out works in Crock Lane, which could cause delays.

Urgent drainage works at Roundhill Coppice, Loscombe, are being carried out until July 29 and the road will be closed Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.

BT will carry out roadworks on Dottery Road from July 19 to 21. There will be traffic controls in place.

Wessex Water will be carrying out works in Folly Mill Lane from July 22 to 26, which may cause delays.

There will be one way access eastbound on George Street, West Bay, from July 23 for the summer. This is to allow extra space for pedestrians.
