Police are appealing for information after tools were stolen from a property in Halstock.

It was broken into between Tuesday, November 2 and Saturday, November 6 and the tools taken include several Stihl petrol tools and a Husqvarna chainsaw.

Police Constable Samuel Synak, of Dorset Police, said: "We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time period, or who has any information that might assist our investigation.

"I would also urge anyone who has come across any power tools matching those described above being offered for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please get in touch."
