A range of Easter activities have been planned for the next three weeks at the Bridport Garden Glut stall.

As well as offering surplus food every Thursday from 10am to 1pm, the stall in St Swithun's Church car park will have something extra.

A spokesman said: "With the Easter holidays nearly upon us, we are expecting the stall to be busy so have put together a number of new initiatives that we would like to share with you.

"As well as the usual variety of food, drink and ready meals, kindly donated to us by local retailers, hospitality businesses and supermarkets, we are inviting you to 'raid your larder' for items that you no longer need, for example canned soup, beans, pasta etc, or any fresh produce, and to bring along to the stall.

"If you are unable to deliver and would like someone to collect, please let us know by emailing [email protected]."

On Thursday, April 1, there will be baby and toddler clothes and toys - new and to swap - as well as Easter treats baked by the Colmers Women's Institute and others.

On Thursday, April 8, takeaway veggie lasagne will be available with a free recipe from 11.30am to 1pm.

On Thursday, April 15, there will be a Caribbean pop-up kitchen takeaway, with chicken or veggie options, from 11.30am to 1pm.
