Bridport mayor Ian Bark presents Bride Valley and Beyond as his charity event

Celebrate our wonderful area and help raise money for two worthy local charities.

Bride Valley and Beyond is an evening of music, songs and readings in celebration of the landscape, history and life in the West Dorset coastal area.

The event will support the mayor's charities - The Living Tree cancer support group and The Burrough Harmony Centre.

Rough Assembly will be performing and it will also feature poems from the Burton Bradstock poet, Douglas Northover. The group originally performed the show in July 2021 and the mayor, councillor Ian Bark, watched it and has chosen it for his charity event.

Bride Valley and Beyond takes place on Saturday, March 5 at Bridport Arts Centre from 7.30pm to 10pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.

Tickets cost £10 and are available from Bridport Tourist Information Centre, by calling 01308 424901 or online at Bridport-arts.com
