A Bridport record shop had an exciting visit from a local post-punk group.

Elizabeth Bunny stopped by at Clocktower Music at St Michael's this week.

Roy Gregory of Clocktower Music said: "They chatted to us about their history, beginnings and evolution along the way.

"Their music was a direct response to the explosive alt music of the '90s, such as the feminist underground Riot Grrrl movement from the Pacific Northwest.

"The band members still live and work around Bridport, we think it's great to have such awesome musicians in our community."

Sarah, Vicki, Charlie and Steady formed Elizabeth Bunny in 1993 and were inspired by artists such as Roxy Music, Bowie and The Velvet Underground.

One of their tracks features on the new Martin Green Presents: Super sonics – 40 Junkshop Britpop Greats CD.

Much of their back catalogue remains unreleased and sought after, however, you can check out their tracks from 1994 here.
