A 70-page report dealing with a complaint against Dorset's Police and Crime Commissioner is to be heard in private next week.

Three members of the Police and Crime Panel will be meeting at County Hall, Dorchester, on Wednesday, June 21 as a Police and Crime Complaints Sub-committee to deal with the issue.

No details about the nature of the complaint against Police and Crime Commissioner David Sidwick have been made publicly available and it has not been revealed if the report also includes the outcome of any investigations which may have taken place.

A proposal has been tabled for the meeting, under the 1972 Local Government Act, to hold the complaint hearing without any press or public present "in view of the likely disclosure of exempt information".
