Here's your Nub News weekly round-up of what's on in the Bridport area this weekend...

All Weekend: Children's Food Fayre
St Mary's School in Bridport hosts this food fayre on the theme of 'Companionship and Connection' – an afternoon of fun, as part of Bridport Food Festival and Great Big Green Week. Learn more about the school's edible garden which has now been running for over a decade.
Friday: Great Big Swim
Meeting at 4pm at East Beacc, West Bay, a beach clean to be followed by a quick chat about the problems facing sea swimmers, a group swim and hot drink (please bring your own) and some cakes which will be shared. As part of Bridport's Great Big Green Week, participants will consider what actions swimmers could take collectively to get their voices heard.
Friday & Saturday: Bridport Beer Festival
Bridport Round Table will host its annual Beer Festival at Askers Meadow, open from 6pm to 11pm on Friday and from 11am to 11pm on Saturday. The festival will include a choice of 80 beers, 40 ciders and more drinks, plus a programme of live music including Stillyano and Shelby's Elbow.
Saturday: Bridport Food Festival
The highlight of the fortnight-long Bridport Food Festival will be held on Saturday, from 9.30am to 4pm at Askers Meadow.
There will be more than 60 local food and drink producers, and food to go caterers offering a whole raft of delicious food and drink for you to try and buy. Children's activities and cookery theatre will also be on the programme.
Saturday: Fun Quiz Night
A fun quiz in support of Bridport Millennium Green will be held at St Marys Church House Hall, South Street on Saturday, from 7.30pm. Come along and have some fun in teams of four, or come on your own and help make up a team. Entry costs £6 including tea and biscuits.
