Tickets are now on sale for the annual Melplash Agricultural Society Show, to be held in Bridport this summer, and early birds will benefit from a 10% discount if they purchase theirs online now.

The Melplash Agricultural Society Show is one of the South West's premier agricultural exhibition and is held annually at The West Bay Showground on the last Thursday before the August Bank holiday.

This year's show will take place on Thursday, August 24 offering something for everyone!

The showground will be packed full of exhibits including livestock, horses, homecrafts and horticulture, as well as more than 400 trade stands selling everything from locally produced food to tractors.

Farming and agriculture really are at the heart of this show and visitors will be able to watch judging of a variety of animals. 

Organisers will be building on the success of the Discover Farming marquee this year – a must visit for all families who are interested in learning more about food production and farming.

There will be a number of activities and interactive demonstrations where children of all ages can get hands-on experience of a variety of 'Farm to Food' activities.
