Bridport Museum to hold welcome afternoon for new volunteers

Bridport Museum is on the look-out for more volunteers.

The team will be holding a welcome afternoon for new volunteers on Friday, October 15 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm in Bridport Town Hall.

The museum has volunteering opportunities for welcoming visitors in the museum, assisting in the shop and learning how to make rope and give demonstrations.

Application forms are available from the museum on South Street or by emailing the museum through its website.

Nikki Brotherton, visitor services manager, said: "We would love to welcome some new recruits this autumn. You'll be joining a welcoming and friendly team based in our beautiful museum.

"Training and support are provided. You can join a regular shift or be on our stand-in rota if you would like to work on a more flexible basis."
