Homes in our lovely part of the country are increasingly sought after, with an estate agent never having so many buyers wanting a property in the area.

Parkers Property Consultants is receiving unprecedented demand for properties in south and West Dorset.

The Bridport office agreed more than 20 sales in March and has never had so many registered proceedable buyers wanting homes in the area.

A particular price region that is receiving high levels of interest is between £450,000 and £750,000.

Just recently Parkers launched a property in the Bride Valley which received just under 30 viewings in 24 hours, resulting in multiple offers.

Parkers' director Mark Parker said: "We have never seen such high demand for homes in this area.

"We have proceedable buyers, many with no chains, calling us constantly each day asking what we have coming on, particularly in the mid to higher end of the market."

If you are considering selling your home call Parkers on 01308 420111.
