Happy 90th birthday Bridport Museum

Bridport Museum has turned 90 and celebrated with a day of family fun.
As well as free entry, visitors could enjoy a piece of cake while looking around all the exhibitions at the museum.
There were rope making demonstrations and a fundraising raffle with some great prizes.
The museum is on the lookout to recruit volunteers to recruit volunteers, give ropemaking demonstrations, work in the shop and steward events and exhibitions.

Bridport Museum is also in need of the community's help with its Curator V Chaos exhibition.
It has dug out lots of paintings from its store and in order to create better exhibitions in the future, it wants visitors to say which paintings it should keep, what should be done with the ones they don't want and what should they be replaced with in the future.
The museum is open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
