Two Bridport businesses got behind a 100 mile challenge across the south coast to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Tom Cross, Jerry Cross and Chris Shrubb completed the distance through a combination of swimming, cycling, walking and running, and all within 72 hours!

Tom led the team of himself, his dad and his uncle to raise funds for the hospital after tragically losing his son Finn after only nine short days despite the fantastic care of the hospital.

The group planned to run 13 miles, cycle 66 miles around the Isle of Wight, walk 20 miles along the Jurassic Coast from Abbotsbury to Lyme Regis and swim a mile at Charmouth.

Tom said: "We want some good to come from this heartbreaking chapter of our lives. Therefore, we wanted to continue our fundraising with this latest challenge."

Visit the fundraising page for more on Tom's story.

The challenge was sponsored by local HR Consultant David Thomas of DTHR Soultions and mid-walk refreshments during the Jurassic Coast walk were supplied by Harry Murley of West Beach Cafe Bar at West Bay.
